BBQ @ Synergy

Yesterday, we had a little church BBQ get-to-gether at Synergy Park. The two little kiddiwinks in the piccies are young cousins, Jack and Kristian. Jack can now walk like a crap (he takes side steps), but i don't think Kristian has ventured into his first steps yet. Absolutely gorgeous little ones.

Two of my Riverview friends also came along, which was great - nice to mix'n'match people from different social circles every now and then ;-)

Valentine's Day

On Wednesday, I took the day off work cos it was Valentine's day and i didn't feel like working on a day where women at work get bombarded with flowers. Anyway, to my surprise, my boss sent a text message to my phone saying a dozen roses had been delivered to reception for me. I sent a message back saying i'd collect them on Thursday.

So i rock up Thursday and there is this bunch of apparently VERY expensive long stemmed red roses. There was a little card attached that everyone in the office had already read (on Wednesday), seeing it wasn't in an envelope. Unfortunately, the person's choice of words were pretty distasteful, giving me the impression they weren't a Christian. They said "Michelle my belle, you are a very tasty delicacy. I really want to be your stud muffin". Kinda creepy.... I have no desire to catch the sender.

Wedding bells

Francis and Joelle tied the knot on Saturday, 3 Feb 2007. It had to be sweetest, most romantic and beautiful wedding i've ever been to. It was so lovely seeing so many ministry people in the church helping out in different ways - through RVTV film crew, media, hospitality, worship, creative arts, the pastoral team, etc... wow! There was just such a warmth in the air and that sweet aroma that comes with heartfelt love for the adorable couple. Just so awesome to be a part of. I will cherish my memories from this special day. I'm sure everyone that attended will!

Congratulations guys, I am so happy for you ;-) I love that BIG grin on Pol's face ... haha, just priceless ;P
